A Magical Night under La Ceiba Tree
/On our second to last night at Rosewood Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, we had what I believe to be our most special and memorable dinner.
Read MoreEaster has always been one of my favorite holidays not only because of all the bright colors, delicious treats and warm weather that signify the beginning of Spring, but because it is one of the holidays that we always spend with extended family.
About a year ago I was introduced to Christian Bling, a faith-based jewelry line out of Atlanta, GA by a dear family friend, Tina Boyd. Christian Bling was founded by four mother-daughter duos who wanted to share their faith and love for God though stylish jewelry that could be worn on a daily basis, not just brought out for special occasions.
These gluten free peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are an absolute dream. I am a huge peanut butter fan so I was hooked by my first bite.
If you were anywhere around the San Francisco Bay Area this weekend, then you already know how beautiful it was! We woke up on Saturday morning after a full day of wine tasting in Santa Rosa and decided to head to the coast.
Happy Monday everyone! Well we had another fun filled weekend here in SF, although technically most of our activities actually took us out of the city. On Friday, Callie, Roberto and I decided to chase the warm weather and take a day trip to the Wine Country.
Wow! What a weekend we just had! One of my best friends, Callie and her boyfriend Roberto, came to visit me from Boca Raton, FL this weekend and since I am pretty new to the city life too, we decided to have a full SF tourist weekend.
I am such a fan of bright, bright colors because to me, they bring about such a happy feeling whether it’s in my surroundings, the food I am eating or even what I am wearing. Whenever I travel to somewhere warm, like Mexico for example, I love to pack all of my bright outfits.
I have to say that the early morning is one of my favorite times of the day. I love the quiet peacefulness of the world when everyone in it is just waking up. It was so relaxing to just sit on the beach and watch the day begin.

We stayed at the gorgeous Rosewood, Mayakoba and it felt like heaven on earth. We were able to have a home that was situated over a lagoon, and every morning when we woke up, I was at such peace because of how calm and serene our surroundings were.
Not to sound cliché, but every day was honestly a new adventure. We did everything from stand-up paddle boarding to taking a catamaran boat out, exploring the area on bikes, and eating our weight in delicious tostadas!
Here are a few of my favorite memories from our adventures in Playa del Carmen.
