Happy Monday everyone! Well we had another fun filled weekend here in SF, although technically most of our activities actually took us out of the city. On Friday, Callie, Roberto and I decided to chase the warm weather and take a day trip to the Wine Country.
We woke up early and drove the 1.5 hours or so that it takes to get to Santa Rosa. When we left the city, it was in the mid-50s, but by the time we got to Healdsburg, it was a sunny 70! With our stomachs grumbling for a yummy breakfast, we decided to try the SHED which has been on my list of places to visit for a while now.
The SHED looks like the store of my dreams, white, light and airy and is divided into different sections for shopping (food, flowers, and a sit down café!) Since we were so hungry, we headed straight to the café and decided to do our shopping post brunch. I ordered the most delicious quiche and a green juice, Callie had a frittata and Roberto ordered gourmet lemon pancakes! All of our eyes caught biscuits on the menu so we of course had to order one to share… YUM!
Every time that I go up to the Wine Country, I love to explore new wineries so we figured we would do two tastings, one at Mauritson Wines and one at Clos du Bois. With a full day ahead of us, we stocked up on a fresh baguette, a few of our favorite cheeses (Manchego and Drunken Goat,) and some meats before hitting the road. We loved our experience at Mauritson Wines because the tastings we had were fantastic, and we were also treated to a tour of the facility where we were able to see the barrels being topped off and even spoke with the head winemaker.
Because it was going to be so nice up in Santa Rosa, I couldn't help but wear a sundress in March! This is a dress that I got in early fall and just haven't had the opportunity to wear it until now. Fortunate for you, it is now 60% off! It is so comfortable and pretty versatile. I can imagine wearing this with a chunky sweater when its cold, and even with a pair of wedges in the spring/summer.
All of the jewelry that Callie and I are wearing is by Christian Bling which is a faith based jewelry line out of Atlanta. I absolutely LOVE wearing all of their pieces because they are not only adorable, but also because each piece has a special and unique message that goes along with it. I will be sharing much more about CTBling in the future, but thought I would link to each piece here as well.
Callie's Jewelry: Necklace: Chloe $60, Bracelet: Ablaze (in red) $73
Rachael's Jewelry: Necklace: Presence $84, Gold Bracelet: Generation $24, Grey Bracelet: His Truth $68, Earrings: Daylight $38

I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend and were able to get outside and enjoy the sun!
