Welcome to Rachael Claire– a lifestyle blog for the 20-Something girl!
Let me preface this by saying that I am by no means a typical blogger. I created this website to be a creative outlet for myself, and to be a place where 20-Somethings can come and learn about an array of different topics. I wanted to create my own blog for a couple of years, and now that I have graduated from college, I feel like it is finally the right time to jump in with both feet.
During the second semester of my senior year, I sat down and decided that I was going to take a risk, and fully immerse myself in this exciting venture. I did not know much about starting my own blog, so I reached out to anyone and everyone that I knew either followed blogs, or had their own. It was so inspiring to me how helpful and encouraging everyone was, and with that, I was off and running. I knew generally speaking what I wanted to blog about because I wanted my website to be authentic to who I am and what my interests are.
I hope to share with all of you experiences, surroundings and stories that inspire me: life, food, friendships, style, travel, celebrations and so much more.

I figured that the best way to get to know a little bit more about me would be through a fun questionnaire! So here we go…
Name: Rachael Claire Henry
Home: San Francisco, California
High School: I graduated from Sacred Heart Prep in Atherton, California. SHP is a private Catholic school, and I can say without a doubt that my experiences there significantly shaped who I am today. Their philosophy is to “educate the whole child” and I really feel that they were able to do that with me. Sacred Heart Prep will always hold a special place in my heart.
College/Post-Grad Aspirations: I just graduated from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and was involved in Greek life as a member of Chi Omega, the Zeta Lambda chapter. I was a communication major with a double minor in entrepreneurship and journalism, and am currently working in the marketing/ digital world at a tech startup in Silicon Valley.
Astrology Sign: Virgo (September 15). Per my sign description, I am independent, reliable, loyal, intelligent and loving… but maybe a little restless, and in need of my own space at times too.
Hobby: I love to play golf! My entire family plays, (parents, cousins, aunts/uncles, grandparents etc.) so I guess you could say that I was destined to play. I realized that I wanted to play the game more competitively when I entered my freshmen year of high school and learned that the school was starting a women’s team. I also played at Wake Forest, before a bad foot injury ended my competitive career. My passion for the game is still there, and I love to play recreationally with friends and family!
Favorite Holiday: This question has two answers for me. The Christmas season is the time of year that fills me with the most joy. I love baking cookies, drinking hot chocolate, and watching holiday movies with friends and family! But, I might have to say Thanksgiving and Easter are my ultimate favorite holidays because we spend them with our extended family in Boston and Charlotte respectively.
Which Celeb would play you in a movie? Sophia Bush hands down! I am a huge One Tree Hill fan, and she stole my heart from the second episode (she didn’t appear in the pilot episode). I truly admire her dedication to bettering the world around her, and her keen business sense.
Fun Fact: I have moved 8 times! I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and continued to move to Utah, France, several places throughout California, and now in North Carolina for school.
So, cheers to this new adventure, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us!
